After-School Programs at the Westhaven Community Centre

Looking for a safe, engaging, and enriching place for your child after the school bell rings? The Westhaven Community Centre provides a dynamic after-school program where kids can learn, play, and grow in a supportive environment. We focus on fun, skill-building, and creating a strong sense of community right here on Harley Avenue.

Our program serves school-aged children and is designed to provide working parents with peace of mind while offering kids a chance to explore new interests and build valuable life skills.

Hours 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Ages Accepted Children aged 5 to 12. (Must be in Kindergarten or higher.)
Fee $200 for the academic year.
Special Coverage Activities provided on Ped Days (with prior registration).
Pick-up Service We offer pick-up at Sainte-Catherine-de-Sienne Elementary School and at the designated bus drop-off location.

Academic Support & Technology

We provide a balanced approach that supports school success while introducing foundational digital literacy.

  • Homework Help: Dedicated time and staff support for students to complete their schoolwork, reinforcing classroom learning and boosting confidence.
  • Internet Use/Computer Lab: Supervised sessions to explore educational content, practice digital skills, or work on age-appropriate projects.

Sports & Physical Activity

Keeping active is key to a healthy lifestyle. Our programs ensure kids get the movement they need after a day of sitting in class.

  • Sports and Physical Activities: Organized games, including basketball and soccer, focus on teamwork, motor skill development, and lifelong fitness habits.
  • Movement Games: Fun, structured games and challenges to promote physical health and coordination.
